Several monthes, after I moved up to Atlanta, Steve surprised me with a trip to Winder,GA to pick out a Lab puppy. I like to think he surprised me, I actually had been secretly searching for a puppy and caught Steve in "rare" form. We actually were just going "to look." If your a dog lover, you know those are the famous last words. The breeder had several litter for us to choose from. Little Pearl caught our eye when she bounded out of the pen and sat right on top of my foot. She didn't run for the hills like the other puppies did. She simply sat right on the top of my foot looking up at me with the sweetest puppy face.(At 90lbs++ she still likes to sit on feet). I am sure she will pop up in more of my blogs.
