Meet Minnie Pearl

Several monthes, after I moved up to Atlanta, Steve surprised me with a trip to Winder,GA to pick out a Lab puppy. I like to think he surprised me, I actually had been secretly searching for a puppy and caught Steve in "rare" form. We actually were just going "to look." If your a dog lover, you know those are the famous last words. The breeder had several litter for us to choose from. Little Pearl caught our eye when she bounded out of the pen and sat right on top of my foot. She didn't run for the hills like the other puppies did. She simply sat right on the top of my foot looking up at me with the sweetest puppy face.(At 90lbs++ she still likes to sit on feet). I am sure she will pop up in more of my blogs. Without further ado...

On November 21, 2009 I had the privilege to stand before God and all of my family and friends and make one of life’s most important commitments. The cool thing was that the promise I made was to my very best friend. In less than 20 short minutes we were pronounced Husband and Wife aka- Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ryan Brown.The first month of marriage has been a whirl wind of fun. From going on our Honeymoon in the Keys, setting up OUR house, spending time with our extended families thru the holidays and trying to keeping up with the daily grind of life, we sure have hit the ground running.

Now that 2010 is quickly approaching I have decided to kick the new year off by capturing OUR Journey via blog.
